About
Iyappan Arumugam is working as an Associate Professor at the International Institute of
Business Studies (IIBS), Bangalore, Karnataka State. He holds a Ph. D in Management from
Alagappa Institute of Management, Alagappa University, Karaikudi, Tamilnadu. He was
funded with Post Doctoral Research from the Indian Council of Social Science Research, New
Delhi. He is the first scholar to get a post-doctoral degree from ICSSR at Alagappa University.
His broad research areas are Strategic Management, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Retailing,
and Supply Chain Management. He has published research articles in top management
journals Indexed in Scopus and ABDC-list and authored three books on Principles of
Management, Organizational Behaviour and Consumer Behaviour. Iyappan has Three years
of industry experience and Eleven years of teaching and research experience. He is an
authorised mentor of Startup India, StartupTN, Annamalai Innovation and Incubation
Research Foundation and Startup Entrepreneur Associates.
