Aim Higher with PGDM NextGen and an INR 12-25 LPA Placement Band
What would change if you stopped treating your career goal as a distant dream and started building the skills to reach it? A strong management career begins with decisions made today: choosing where to learn, gaining the confidence to solve real problems, and preparing to step into opportunities when they arrive.
IIBS Bangalore’s PGDM NextGen Flagship Program with 10 powerful specializations is designed for students ready to make those decisions. The 2-year programme connects management education with dual specializations, 70% practical experience, industry exposure, and career preparation. The placement band INR 12-25 LPA gives aspirants an ambitious goal to work towards while they develop the skills employers seek.
The institute's PGDM programme is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and recognised by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) as equivalent to an MBA.
Students explore management concepts through case studies, simulations, live projects, internships and industry visits. Each experience asks them to do more than recall an answer. They learn to examine a challenge, discuss possible solutions, make a decision and explain why it makes business sense.
Business moves quickly, and managers need to keep learning as markets, technology and customer expectations change. PGDM NextGen gives students opportunities to develop their abilities through industry-focused specialisations, professional certifications, startup exposure and mentoring.
The programme’s 15-day global exposure component adds an international perspective. Students can observe different business practices, meet new people and return with fresh ideas about how organisations operate across markets. That perspective becomes valuable whether they plan to work with a global company, grow an Indian business, or build a venture of their own.
The highest package for the PGDM batch of 2024–26 is INR 62 LPA and an average package of INR 11.2 LPA. The figures offer prospective students a concrete view of the opportunities associated with the programme and the preparation required to pursue them. Individual placement outcomes vary by role, recruiter, and student performance.
The batch’s recruitment activity brought companies from consulting, technology, finance and other sectors to campus. Recruiters and participating companies included Deloitte, Finastra, EY, KPMG, Amazon, TCS, Capgemini and HCLTech. More than 20 Finance Management students from the 2024-26 PGDM batch received offers from Deloitte and Finastra in the INR 10-12 LPA range.
These outcomes begin long before an interview. Students build their profiles through projects and internships, practise communicating their ideas, and learn to connect their strengths to a role's needs. The result is a clearer path from the classroom to the workplace.
Admissions are open for the December 2026 PGDM NextGen batch, with 60 seats available. Eligible applicants can be considered for merit scholarships of up to INR 2 lakh, subject to the institute’s scholarship criteria.
A bigger career goal calls for a purposeful first step. Explore IIBS Bangalore’s PGDM NextGen Flagship Program, choose the skills you want to build, and begin working towards the opportunities ahead.
