With the advent of new applications, technical terms, processes, and practices, the workplace has become more efficient and competitive. We are keen on nurturing our PGDM students and develop them into industry-ready professionals and proficient entrepreneurs. Hence to stay abreast with technological developments we provide our students the right platform to develop inter-disciplinary skills. PGDM at IIBS has selected different Value Added Certification Programs. These programs are conducted by industry experts and trainers, who conduct theory and practical sessions for the students to have a better understanding of the subject.
Objective
The objective is to equip the students with the practical nuances of the market apart from the academic knowledge. These certifications also provide an edge to the students while seeking placements in the industry.
IIBS Finishing School & Value Added Certification
IIBS offers a career-focused PGDM program designed to combine strong fundamentals with extensive customization. In the first year, students build a solid grounding in core business disciplines. In the second year, they can choose from five PGDM specializations as Majors, along with the flexibility to add Minors aligned with their career goals.
Beyond core academics, IIBS significantly enhances learning through value-added certifications. Each student completes 24 additional certifications, including 8 mandatory certifications, 4 specialization-focused certifications, 12 certifications from Harvard Business School (student choice), and 10 IIM certifications through MOOCs (student choice). With a total of 95 courses available, this structure ensures broad exposure and practical expertise.
This integrated Majors–Minors and certification-driven approach enables students to tailor their learning, gain multi-domain expertise, and graduate as industry-ready, highly versatile professionals.
