PGDM Admission Criteria

Admission to the NBA-accredited, AICTE-approved, and AIU-recognised PGDM program at IIBS Bangalore is based on a combination of academic performance, entrance exam scores, and personal assessment. Candidates are evaluated on:

  • Academic background and bachelor’s degree performance
  • Scores from recognized management entrance exams (CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, or IIBSAT)
  • Performance in Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds
  • Overall aptitude, leadership potential, and communication skills

    The process ensures that only the most promising candidates join our PGDM program, preparing them for successful management careers.

PGDM Eligibility for Admission

To be eligible for the PGDM program at IIBS Bangalore, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum 50% aggregate marks (45%for reserved categories).
  • Final-year students can also apply.
  • Candidates have to apply online.
  • Valid scores in national-level entrance exams: CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, or IIBSAT.
  • Work experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Candidates must meet additional requirements for scholarships or special categories (if applicable).


Meeting these eligibility requirements ensures that students have the foundation to succeed in a rigorous PGDM program.
